Progress!

On behalf of Cedric’s family Junior thanks everyone who has been helping them with donations and prayers! Today I delivered this week’s necessities to Cedric’s family. I had a long talk with his parents and collected all the information they had about Cedric’s medical condition and arranged for them to contact the doctors who last treated him to get their recommendation for a path forward to surgery. Once we have their input we will be ready to plan the next steps! Last week when I delivered the needed catheters and catheter bags to Cedric’s mother I discovered that she didn’t have the proper supplies necessary for adequate cleanliness. So after another trip to the hospital in Calapan I was able to deliver those to her today. WIth the guidance of an experienced nurse I started training her in as clean a technique as is possible with the supplies that we have access to. She will need one more session and I will help her with the first change but she’s picking it up! Thanks for all the help and prayers! Moving forward in God’s will!
